In school yesterday, we looked at different artistic styles. First we looked at Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘The starry night’.

We looked at the colours, the style of his painting and how it made us feel. We then made a mono print using his painting as inspiration!

After this we looked at Pointillism. This style of painting only uses dots of colour to build up an overall picture. So we used cotton tips to make the dots of colour and drew around our arms/hands for the tree trunk and branches.

A fabulous arty day.

I would also like to see any of your wonderful arts or crafts. Please do share, so we can all see how wonderful you all are.
